I. Credit Requirements
The IMEM program requires no less than 36 credits, including Public Compulsory Courses (5 credits), Core Engineering Management Courses (no less than 17 credits), Distributional Electives of Engineering Management (2 credits), Specialization Courses (no less than 12 credits).

 Students who meet the language requirements can apply for exemption and get credit, please refer to the exemption conditions and procedures stipulated in the Graduate Handbook.

 Students can select courses from those listed in the "Introduction to Chinese Culture and Society" course group (Course Group No.: 00000007). If credits got from this course group is inadequate, then professional course credits can be counted instead.
 The course is mainly conducted in lectures, seminars, on-site visiting and surveys.
 Students can take lectures under the guidance of the MEM Education Center. Students who attend at least four lectures will get one credit point, that is, the credit is 0.25 for each lecture.
This course is organized in a series of domestic or overseas immersion classes. Guided by a supervisor or the MEM Education Center, students can freely choose no less than one immersion class.
 With the approval from MEM Education Center and the Department of Industrial Engineering, students may choose to intern either in their home country, Chinese enterprises, or the University’s laboratories for a period of no less than one month. At the end of the internship, students should submit a report of the internship for evaluation.
